🏆 Selection Process
  1. 1 Stage 1 – Academic Shortlisting (5x Rule): A merit list is prepared based on qualifying exam marks — B.Sc marks for Lab Technician, 12th marks for Lab Assistant, and 10th/12th marks for Lab Attendant. Top 5 times the number of advertised vacancies per post will be shortlisted. Candidates securing marks equal to the cut-off are also called, even if the count exceeds 5x.
  2. 2 Stage 2 – Written Examination: A 2-hour written exam of 100 marks is conducted for each post — 80 marks for subject-specific General Science and 20 marks for General Knowledge. Qualifying marks: 50% for UR/OBC/EWS and 40% for SC/ST candidates.
  3. 3 Stage 3 – Final Merit List: Category-wise merit lists are prepared solely on the basis of written exam marks. Horizontal reservation for Women and Ex-Servicemen is applied as per MP Government rules.
  4. 4 Stage 4 – Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates from the merit list are called for document verification with original certificates.
Tip: Focus first on clearing the academic shortlisting (Stage 1). Then prepare hard for the 80-mark General Science paper — it determines your final rank.
